#WCID21
World Creativity and Innovation Day (WCID), April 21 was a GREAT success with a wonderful turn out! Over 50 participants zoomed in from the US, Scotland, Ireland, and Majorca to celebrate this special event designated by the United Nations. Students learned, shared, and produced some wonderful creations!
Across the globe, the day was dedicated to recognizing the important role creativity plays in self-expression, problem-solving and helping the greater good. For this reason, sculptor/ designer, Mr. Mark Stoddart's work was featured. Famous for his hippo sculptures and furniture, his work has benefited many causes, environmental and humanitarian alike. Mark kindly joined our meeting to teach us more about the casting process and craftsmanship behind his beautiful bronze sculptures. Learn more about Mark's creative work, inspiring life, and dyslexia advocacy.
